You add less water for cooking of the rice and before the rice cooks, add in the gravy -of the leftover chicken, that makes up that remaining amt of water which needs to cook the rice) or just don't add in so much gravy ? :P )tigerfishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13575213806359208350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4476002274244189867.post-50047758015994946972008-04-25T00:16:00.000-07:002008-04-25T00:16:00.000-07:00big chinese restaurants as a norm seldom serve bee...big chinese restaurants as a norm seldom serve beef in KL but such fare is occassionally found in stalls and most usually found as beef noodle soupbackStreetGluttonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14460576943361174364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4476002274244189867.post-12411568503541823032008-04-24T18:37:00.000-07:002008-04-24T18:37:00.000-07:00IT looks like the stir fried beef served in my sch...IT looks like the stir fried beef served in my school..Very yummy~JOjohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14352529308828306796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4476002274244189867.post-82247643611575539562008-04-24T00:50:00.000-07:002008-04-24T00:50:00.000-07:00looks very similar to those steam pork rib in tim ...looks very similar to those steam pork rib in tim sum place....ling239https://www.blogger.com/profile/17569857439055727717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4476002274244189867.post-16837123603711988122008-04-24T00:24:00.000-07:002008-04-24T00:24:00.000-07:00use cornflour to ensure the beef stays tender..goo...use cornflour to ensure the beef stays tender..good tip.."Joe" who is constantly cravinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10394450113346260318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4476002274244189867.post-7441680353697145342008-04-23T22:50:00.000-07:002008-04-23T22:50:00.000-07:00I think black bean sauce in general is too salty! ...I think black bean sauce in general is too salty! I love black bean sauce! I make mine by using a couple table spoons of black beans in about 1/2 cup of wine and then I mash up the beans after they soak. The wine (heated well to boil off the alcohol) and mashed beans adds to the gravy's flavor. The gravy is mostly broth and cornstarch. I also like using poblano peppers or a bitter melon instead of bell peppers. I love this dish!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13821968120668567974noreply@blogger.com
